Re-opening Snowmobile Trail to Matachewan

Update

For many years Matachewan had snowmobile trails open for snowmobile enthusiasts and families to enjoy the trails and visit our community,

Unfortunately for different reasons the trails have been closed for a number of years.

With the interest of many residents, businesses and council support, there are renewed interests in reopening the snowmobile trail to our beautiful town.

Volunteers are the backbone of any initiative, and it will take many volunteers to make this happen.

“Let’s work together to bring the trails back to Matachewan”

We have so many great volunteers and residents in our community who go above and beyond to be the changemakers and bring more life to our community.

Representatives from the Timiskaming Northern Ontario Sno Travelers Club have been in communication with Council, and staff in implementing this initiative in Matachewan.
